The Ripon Police Department has announced the promotion of Dispatcher Gail Fry to Dispatch Supervisor, highlighting her nearly 20-year career with the agency.

Fry joined the department in 2005 and quickly became a key member of the dispatch team. She began training new dispatchers in 2007, and by 2021, had taken on the role of Dispatch Lead, regularly stepping up to support both her colleagues and the wider Ripon community.

Leaders at the department credited Fry’s dedication and leadership with helping to shape the dispatch unit. “We are incredibly grateful for her commitment and the positive impact she continues to make,” the department shared in its announcement.
