The countdown to Christmas has started, and in Ripon, that means one thing: poinsettias. With just 21 days until December 1—the unofficial marker of holiday season chaos—the Ripon High Booster Club is once again rolling out its popular poinsettia sale and fundraiser.

Now in its eighth year, the fundraiser powers some of the essentials for Ripon High’s staff and students, from field trips to classroom supplies and technology upgrades. “The money we raise goes directly back into the school,” said Petra Inglis, Booster Club co-president. The group is powered by a mix of parent volunteers and faculty, all working to lift up the school community.

If you want in on one of the season’s top-selling holiday plants, here’s the rundown: each poinsettia is $20, but buy three or more and the price drops to $18 per plant. All orders need to be in by November 21, with local Booster members delivering fresh poinsettias the morning of December 1—right on time for decking the halls, hosting parties, or dropping off a thoughtful gift.

“Poinsettias make wonderful gifts for friends, family, or even your favorite local business,” Ingles said. “And every purchase helps us keep making a difference at Ripon High.”

The club sources their poinsettias locally from Duarte Nursery in Stanislaus County, making the fundraiser both a community and local business booster.

To snag your poinsettias or get more information on the fundraiser, email RiponHighBoosterClub@gmail.com, call or text 209-765-9606, or swing by the Ripon High School office for an order form.
