Ripon will come alive this Saturday as beer enthusiasts gather for one of the community's most anticipated spring events. The 2025 Ripon Brewfest, hosted by American Legion Post #190, is set to transform the Ripon Community Center into a craft beverage paradise.
This year's festival promises to be bigger than ever, featuring an impressive lineup of over 40 different craft beers, ciders, and seltzers. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., attendees can sample their way through some of the region's finest brews while enjoying the upbeat sounds of DJ Greggie-B.
The American Legion Post #190 has curated an exceptional selection of beverages this year, ensuring something for every palate, from hoppy IPAs to crisp ciders.
Food trucks will be on site to complement the beverages, while various games and activities will keep the festivities lively throughout the afternoon. Lucky attendees might even walk away with one of several door prizes being offered through event drawings.
Tickets are available at $35 per person, with a reduced rate of $15 for designated drivers. The event is strictly for those 21 and over, and tickets can be purchased through the American Legion's website at www.americanlegionriponca.com.
The Brewfest kicks off a significant weekend for the American Legion, as the organization prepares for another milestone event. On Sunday, May 18 - Armed Forces Day - the Legion will celebrate the grand re-opening of its fully remodeled Legion Hall, known as the Clinton McCausland Post 190 Bugbee Veterans Center, located at 201 S. Stockton Ave. Further details about the re-opening celebration are forthcoming.
For those planning to attend Brewfest, the Ripon Community Center is located at 334 N. Fourth St. The event has historically drawn crowds from across the region, combining community spirit with craft beverage appreciation in support of local veterans.
